At more than one point it looked lie the show may have to be cancelled due to a number of unforeseen circumstances.
My heart goes out to our Golden Belt Representative, who is fast becoming one of the top promotes in the country. The one and only Jon Green, who kept his cool throughout. And with help from a number of people, especially Mr Paul Sutton, all the obstacles were overcome.
We were in for one of the best nights of championship kickboxing that I, and the Golden Belt team felt privaleged to witness and be a part of.
The evening started later than expected, due to previously mentioned hiccups.
Billed as the Last Man Standing - Winner takes All, plus one of the best international thai fights in the country so far to date. Plus a European International Rules Title, along with multi Junior English Titles.
What more could anyone ask for. But it was planned to have more, with England's own Julie Kitchen also meant to be on the bill. But unfortunately due to the dutch fighter not making the weight this fight had to be cancelled.
